It serves to complement private instruction and chamber music coaching by teaching participants how to accelerate success in the practice room, empowering them to understand how to approach practicing and problem solving between lessons/coachings. Beyond a standalone workshop, it supports students throughout the semester as they continue to develop their skills. The workshop begins with an overview of how easy and hard practice empower fundamental and developmental learning, and continues into a variety of topics including but not limited to optimizing learning strategies in new fields, memorization and recall, plateaus and peak performance, and developing presentation skills.
